Unsecured websites that ask me for my first and last name and birthdate or email address make me uneasy. We must always be wary of sites that appear to be harmless fun, but are actually ruses created by unscrupulous people from god-knows-where to add us to their mailing list or steal or identity.

"steal or identity" = steal our identity

It's alright, but the names it gives often sound odd in Chinese. Yes, all of the characters can be used in names, but it isn't just a matter of putting them together. You can, but it sounds odd.

In English, imagine a really exotic, beautiful name - and then their surname is Smith!
