Similar Proverbs and Sayings throught the languages?

I'm a native speaker of Korean and I've found many proverbs and sayings that are similar to English sayings.

For exmaple: (The former one is Korean and the latter being English)
The other person's rice cake looks bigger. (Korean)
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence. (English)

Monkeys sometimes fall out of the trees.
Even Homer sometimes nods.(= Even the greatest make mistakes.)

Seeing it for once is better than listening to it for 100 times.
Seeing is believing. (=A picture is worth a thousand words.)
