They pronounce vowels with a longer duration than that of Mexican Spanish.

"clearer" to who? if you don't know Spanish you wont understand it no matter if its Mexican Spanish, Colombian Spanish or Argentine Spanish.
If you know Spanish you can understand every version no matter what, the only differences are certain words.

Let's see,

A Mexican would say:
Estamos muy cansados

An Argentine would say:
Ehtamoh muy cansa(d)oh

So you tell me, which one's clearer? anyways, I do believe that Argentine Spanish is the second clearest in [b]South America[/b] after the Colombian one.
