Want to know which of the following sentence is correct and why?

1. I hope you are enjoying the film as much as I do
2. I hope you enjoy the film as much as I have

They both don't work, I believe.

Here are a couple of alternatives:

1. "I hope you are enjoying the film as much as I am."

2. "I hope you enjoy the film as much as I do."

Actualy the sentence was like this:

I hope you ______(enjoy) the film as much as I ____(have)

What should be correct answer?

Try, "I hope you have enjoyed the film as much as I have."
