Although other bakeries in town are much larger, this midwestern bakery has developed and sustained its loyal clientele by offering tasty and attractive breads and pastries, baked and sold with the personal attention of a European neighborhood bake shop

The last part - "baked and sold with the personal attention of a European neighborhood bake shop", I don't understand what it means.

could you help me?

It means the breads and pastries are baked and sold under the supervision of a "European neighborhood bake shop" (whatever that means). This could mean there is another bakery in the area who happens to specialise in a European style of dough-making.

It could also mean that the baking and sales are attended to personally, as in European neighborhood bake shops. This would be in contrast to the larger bakeries in town, where the workers are not so dedicated.

They're saying that European neighborhood bake shops are known for producing goods with a personal touch. Not that the building itself is supervising the process! But the way the sentence is worded is misleading, I admit -- that's one of those things you would have to understand by context.

It doesn't speak of the renown of European neighborhood bake shops. The sentence relates only "this midwestern bakery" with "a European neighborhood bake shop".

Not literally, no. But it's called "reading between the lines".

thank you.
I'm the one who asked this question.

I'm with Uriel's translation.
It doesn't seem refering to an actual European bake shop near. I think it tries to say 'the European style, which people will like, has been added to the breads and pastries'

I can't be sure, though.
