F1 people start all of their sentences with “for sure"

Drivers and team personnel use that term a lot. Massa uses it the most. Do you think it is annoying?

For sure it is annoying. It might a translation of something they use in their own language.

I for one wish they would not always speak in English though. Now THAT is annoying.

For sure, I have noticed this for a long time. Almost all drivers in F1 and WRC use this. I think its mostly continental Europeans who use this (French especially, Sebastien Loeb cant begin a sentence without this), and I think Massa has just picked it up from hearing all his fellow drivers using it.

BTW, "massa" is a somewhat racially charged term in the US. It's the word "master" pronounced in a stereotypically black accent.
