storyline vs plot

What, if any, is the difference between the "storyline" and "plot?"

They're pretty much the same thing.

I think that "plot" is more general. Plot is what the story is about, the storyline is an actual list of what happens. "Romeo and Juliet" and "West Side Story" have the same plot, but different storylines.
