Why is English syntax so easy compared to th Romance tongues

Happens in Dutch as well:
Hier komt de trein
De trein komt hier

Does Dutch not have a word equivalent to the German 'hierher' or 'her' then?

This still follows the normal word order for Dutch though, doesn't it?

Hierher = Hierheen

However it depends if you use hier or hierheen.

Hierheen makes it more clear it's not standing still. Hierheen gives a direction, where 'hier' doesn't do that.
