Spain is the least of the American puppets.
bombero   Tue Dec 30, 2008 8:14 pm GMT
Spain is insignificant from every point of view, that's why

Hmmmm...I don't think so.

If the Presidents of Spain and Mexico (and their Government) support one of the next Candidates to the White House, this man can be probably the next President!

In 2012, there will be over 50 million of Hispanics and they will be very important in California, Arizona, Texas, Florida, New Mexico...even in New York!

And Obama is not stupid...

Spanish TV is trash like the Italian chanels, only 5% of Spanish population watch TV so the share ranks are meaningless. There are better ways to stay informed like the Internet.
Aznar   Thu Jan 01, 2009 9:13 am GMT
Looking "audiencias" a lot of Spanish population watch TV.
Zapatero   Thu Jan 01, 2009 6:07 pm GMT
Not really, Spanish TV is boring because it's a copy of the Italian one. Those atrocious programs that appear in Tele5 ,full of bad taste and obscenity, didn't exist in Spain until the Italian mass media entered in the Spanish market. So only a few watch those channels. What the above mentioned shares demonstrate is that the few Spanish who like "telebasura" (trash TV) choose preferably Italian owned chanels because the Italians are experts in trash. If you want to watch interesting channels you must have ADSL TV or satellite.
Gerhard Shroeder   Thu Jan 01, 2009 10:19 pm GMT
<<because the Italians are experts in trash.>>

Haha, is the trash stiill on the street in Naples?
lolo   Fri Jan 02, 2009 9:20 am GMT
Italians are experts in beauty, art, fine architecture. For this reason Italy is one of the nicest countries in the world. I'm not Italian though.
As for rubbish you can find it in many towns around the world
Zapatero   Fri Jan 02, 2009 6:18 pm GMT
Trash has its particular beauty. Search about postmodern art.

America's genius has always comes from it's diversity and incredible ability to change. Obama might not be able to undo the mess left behind his predecessors but he will at least repair some of the damage.

Did USA ever had Catholic Presidents?
