AIR-rick.

Yup, I say ["Er\Ik], which has the same vowel as my "air" [Er\].

I pronounce it as [Er\Ik], but I use a different vowel in "air": [E@`].

(Likewise I distinguish names like "Erin, Aaron" [Er\In], [{r\@n], and "Carey, Kerry, Carrie" [kE@`i], [kEr\i], [k{r\i].)

That should probably be [Er\@n], not [Er\In], above. I can't honestly say that I distinguish between the "-in" of "Erin" and the -on" of "Aaron" - it's just the first syllable that differentiates those words for me.

I myself have:

"Eric" : /"erIk/ -> ["e:.r\Ik]
"Air" : /"er/ -> ["e:r\]
"Erin", "Aaron" : /"erIn/ -> ["e:.r\I~:n]
"Carey", "Kerry", "Carrie" : /"keri/ -> ["k_he:.r\i]

Bandii, C is always pronounced as K at the end of a word like "Eric".
