Afternoon Nap: Multilingual Thread

Recently I saw a report on GloboTV about the siesta in Madrid. GloboTV is from Brazil and apparently, they don't take a siesta in Brazil. Even though Brazil doesn't have this custom, people in the south of France have this custom, even people in Vietnam and China have this custom.

Do you have this custom in your country?
What do you think about the idea of resting for two-three hours in the afternoon if you don't have this custom?

I wanted to put this in the Spanish thread, but it may be more fun to read about this in many languages.
