father-bother
On my machine, it sounds like the recording volume was to high or you were too close to the mike -- the b's and p's are distorted.
Yes! You're well and truly father-bother-cut-hut-cuff merged!!!
"buther, futher cut hut cuffee in the car park"
"buther, futher cut hut cuffee in the car park"

Huh? I've listened to that recording and I clearly don't hear an /V/ sound in those words.

Mike were are you from?
I sence the slight American accent in your recording though I don't think Americans would call it a 'car park' but a 'car lot' Car park is common to Commonweath countries (Canada included to some extent).

i'm not a native speaker ... i'm from russia ... i published some tapes before .... i didn't compose this sentence ... i just read it ...
Sorry Mike. No I'm not from Arizona nor the US LOL.... from New Zealand actually.
i gave it to listen to a guy from NJ and he said, probably, i sounded like someone from the Midwest ... close to someone right there ....
Well I'm not a Language expert but from my basic knowledge your recording sounded American.
I think its best if the Americans comment on your accent.
