The Polish ad sounds like the ad from Portugal.
Listen closely to the intonation from the start of both adverts.

I wonder why people say that Portuguese sounds like Russian. They sound nothing alike. Portuguese sounds more like Dutch.

to GuestGuest:

What dialect are you exposed to when it comes to Portuguese? Brazilian or Continental?

Dutch has more vowels when spoken than any Northeastern Slavonic language.

Portuguese intonation from Lisbon tends to be marked as a Polish accent's intonation and the usual Portuguese accent when they speak English sounds nearly identical to a "Russian Spy" accent (like a mix of Russian, Polish and Eastern Bulgarian).

Although spoken Portuguese consonants sound closer to Polish, their stressed, closed vowels begin to sound like Russian stressed vowels.

Example, closed o is like uo, closed e is like ie.

And all Portuguese unstressed a sounds like Russian/Bulgarian schwa.

Portuguese pronounce prenda like /prʲen'də/ whilst Brazilians pronounce it like /pren'dɐ/.

With that, Portuguese from Portugal can definitely be mistaken for Russian.
