1.On one side of the box which a pump is in ,write:pump to a new beat
Is "pump to a new beat" an advertisement for the pump?
In it,what does "beat" mean?
2.The door was not a long time opening...
Does it means that the door was not open for a long time ?

1) I wonder if "pump to a new beat" is an oblique reference to music, as in "Jerry Lee Lewis and his pumpin' piano".

2) I would guess that this means that the door soon opened (i.e. was not closed very long), or perhaps it opened quickly, once it started to open. More commonly, you hear something like "the door was not long opening".
