traduction

is traduction a word in english? i was reading a blog and the person used it and by the context i knew they meant interpretation/translation. many people don't really know the difference.

i speak spanish and have studied french so i knew what was meant but i was wondering if this is a correct, albeit rare and acceptable term in english or if they just mistranslated?

No its not a word.

"traduction" is a common error of romance speakers, especially francophones. You were no doubt reading non-native english.
