I think Spanish and Portuguese are very beautiful and are well-suited for singing.

Italian... I honestly can't see its appeal. I think even French and Catalan are better (no offense to Italians).

Germanic language sound good... even Dutch does:

Never understood people who said Dutch is ugly. I think it's one of the more beautiful languages.

E quanto o Inglês?

Porque todas as músicas em Inglês ficam boas?

<<Why every Song in that language sound good? >>

For every good song in English, there are probably 100s that aren't very good (maybe 1000s).

Because Britain/America have a monopoly over the music industry. Its where one get his fame and money, and so it attracts talent from all over the world (Celine Dion - Quebecois, Regina Spektor - Russian, Shakira - Colombian). When you have the best of the best composers and marketing, it's a little easier to make it to the top.

Italian is the nicest romance language ever: melodious, musical and hearty. Portuguese and Spanish are the ideal languages of peasantry: course, rustic and boorish. Sorry, probably that's just me. French may be nice at times but it sounds a bit too womanish to me.

Evinora, you don't know a thing about romance linguistics. Spanish and Portuguese vocabulary and grammar are much more similar than the Italian ones. Take a look at the following examples.

Ogni donna dovrebbe sapere qualcosa su quella faccenda

if french sounds too womanish, then italian must be gay.
