Isn't the prevailing PC movement maiming Engish? Like the ubiquitous "he or she" monster among a host of other newly coined terms induced by PC!

<<Like the ubiquitous "he or she">>

No need for "he/she", "he or she", etc -- just use the "singular they" instead.

Example: "Each driver will keep their vehicle under control at all times.'

Is the "L" forbidden now in English? That's too politically correct. Give 'em "L" back.

The correct version is:
"Each driver will keep his vehicle under control at all times."
It isn't necessarily a male, for this form is also used when the sex is unspecified.
