I'd like to know if there are rules to the english pronunciation.
For example, the next words finished in 'th' are pronounced with diferent sounds. path [pɑːθ] smooth [smuːð] This is very dificult for me.

In reply to your question - it's possible that after a long vowel sound it is a voiced 'th', and an unvoiced 'th' after a short vowel. I'm probably completely wrong about this though, so don't rely on it. Maybe you just have to learn them seperately.
When learning an English word, it's best to learn both its pronunciation and spelling, along with the meaning. This is sort of like having to learn the gender of a noun (and maybe its plural) in other languages.

Nah, look at tooth, booth, and both, all with long vowels and soft TH's, and loathe, with a long vowel and a hard TH. There are rules to English pronunciation, but we love to break them, so I think you are stuck just having to learn words the hard way. My boyfriend and I were discussing how one learns to read, and he, being a Spanish-speaker, said for him it was quite easy -- Spanish is pretty phonetic. They start with syllables and work up to whole words. He asked if we learned to read phonetically in English, too. I just laft. I mean, laughed. God, no! It takes us YEARS as children to learn to read: we get drilled over and over throughout primary school, hold spelling bees to show off anyone who's actually mastered the art (while we ruthlessly pick off the contestants one by one as they mess up), and finally make it to adulthood still making tons of mistakes (it's sepArately, Caspian -- and Caspian's not an idiot by any stretch; this just shows how hard it is to be 100% correct all the time!). We may be the only literate people who routinely squint at a word they have just written and ask for a second opinion, even when sure that it's spelled correctly -- how many times have you heard someone muse, "I don't know, it just doesn't look right..."?
