Sapienti sat

A word is enough to the wise.

I have heard this expression before as "a word to the wise". This is often a word of warning, and if you are wise, you will listen to this word of warning and take heed (take it to heart).

My private company say that the meaning is:

verbum sapienti (sat est)

'a word (is enough) to the wise' (abbr. verb. sap.).

SHOW YOURSELVES, COWARDS! I've spent $1,000 dollars of the tax payers money trying to find these thieves and I'll spend $1,000,000 if that's what it takes!
