Unconsciously writing the way I speak...

Nick   Wed Feb 17, 2010 6:49 pm GMT
Lately I've noticed that I've been writing sentences the way I speak them...

example...

"I like THAT one and not this one"

I'd write

"I like THE one and not this one" (dropping the T)

another one is:

"What DO you need FROM me?"

becomes

"What TO you need fro me?"

I noticed these mistakes after I reviewed my email sent items and the instances happened not just once...

So?

I'm just wondering if it's just me, mister.

when there's no spell check around, and people spell through sound, you get stuff like apperantly as opposed to apperently

though ive never encountered do = to

I don't think so, Nick.

Are you doing other things while you email? (Talking, listening to music, etc.?)

Hey mati, even your apparently is mispelt! Hehe! You probably say it as apperently!

Just a hunch here, Nick old mate; but I would say you are probably allowing yourself to be distracted by other things, when you write your emails.
