Written Norwegian (well Bokmal) looks 95% identical to Danish, however Norwegian pronounciation is differs greatly from Norwegian and its said sounds more like Swedish.
To get to the point, if a Norwegian turned on Swedish radio, would he immediately understand it in the same sense a British person would immediately understand Australian or South African radio, or would the Norwegian have to accoustom himself to the pronounciation and vocabulary differences before he would understand it?
Cheers
