Keep trying to talk through your nose until you perfect it, but more to the point, why on earth would you want an American accent at all?

Yeah, well take into account that in the East Coast you'll find New England accent, New Yourk accent, New Jersey accent, Piedmont accent and so on... so you need to be more specific.
