Why do people only pay attention to global languages such as English, French, or Spanish, and always neglect powerful, prestigious, or interesting languages such as German, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, and so on.

Powerful languages? Prestigious languages? Interesting? Interesting is purely subjective.

A language is not interesting in and of itself. A boring person can learn as many languages as they want but they will still be boring.

People talk about smaller languages all the time.

German is interesting, but Chinese and Japanese are not. Only people interested in manga would learn Japanese. Manga aficionados are very weird people I should say. Probably I will learn Italian after German, but I'm not sure. I have very clear that after having to learn a ugly language like English only because it is useful, I will not learn languages because of their usefulness anymore, but only those that please me and I'm genuinely interested in them.

I fully concur with this. Uncultured working ants are pathetic people.
