Can anyone tell me how to pronounce the "r" sound? I can't pronounce it.

"Rica nu stia sa zica, riu, ratzusca, ramurica'

Rica wasn't able to say, river, duckling, brunch - small , diminutive!

No, you're wrong. It's actually Rica nu ştia să zică rîu, răţuscă, rămurică. It means she didn't know how to say river, duckling, branchlet. Get it right or don't say anything at all, you uneducated kid.
