Why do PC people care about homosexuals in Africa?

In case you haven't noticed, the latest "trend" (ever since they adopted their new "quiet but steady" strategy on global warming) in the liberal media is the plight of homosexuals in Africa. Now I don't want this thread to turn into a discussion about homosexuality per se, that is irrelevant to this. What I want to discuss is why the PC liberals are so up in arms about it.

I mean, sure, it probably sucks big time to be a homosexual in Africa, but really... it sucks to be an African full stop. Are you really trying to tell me that by donating to pro-homosexual organisations in Africa you are going to make their society more tolerant to them, just like that? Haven't you ever heard of "like society, like treatment of homosexuals". By helping homosexuals alone you just single them out and elevate them above other Africans who have issues just as serious.

And of course, there is the fact that you should just let them deal with it themselves. In case you didn't know, there is strong resentment from Africans to what they see as interference, and hence the effect is the opposite to what the spineless liberals want - the more you push, the more their society will push back and say fuck off.

So, whence do your liberal ideals spring forth, and with what purpose? Do you ever think rationally or is it always like something out of a Greenpeace pamphlet? Do you actually really think that way, or is it just a cover for something else?

I believe it is some kind of strategy to divert attention from David Laws, the homosexual from the Conservative government who was supposed to manage the programme of public spending cuts, and was caught after paying £40,000 of taxpayers' money to a gay lover.

Surely, the most PC approach is to respect the current African culture as it is, and not try to force our ways upon them.

Same with Islam. If Iran wants to dismember any gays they find, we need to respect that practice as god's will, and stop complaining about it.

Remember, all cultures are OK, except the white European, Western culture, which is the scourge of the earth, and the cause of all problems.

I suppose the people in this video are all "quietly but steadily" making it up, then:

What an extraordinary set of actors !
And what about the special effects? Those are computer-generated tides, right? Amazing what you can do with computers these days ...

Well, yeah freaks are never gonna shut up. But by "new strategy" I was referring to the "unbiased" mainstream news sources, like the BBC for example.

<<the homosexual from the Conservative government>>

Well done, you've just proven you know absolutely nothing about British politics! The UK has a coilition government between the Conservatives and the Lib Dems. David Laws is a Liberal MP, as is another gay in the cabinent who is a member of the Liberals. Get your facts straight before talking shit.

It must be a pagan ritual that somehow has survived after Islamization of the Iranians.

And you are missing the point, Mathematik,
the problem is that he was supposed to manage the programme of public spending cuts, and was caught after paying £40,000 of taxpayers' money to his lover.

That he is a homosexual and didn't want anybody to know about it should probably be another cause for concern for many of his conservative voters, such as the British twats who post regularly here judging others for their sexual behaviour, but it shouldn't overshadow his criminal actions. This is about being a law-breaking hypocrite, not about being gay‎.

What I don't really get is David Cameron's statement saying, "You are a good and honourable man", or Nick Clegg's "I have great respect for the dignity with which David has acted"

So, if it is "good, honourable and dignifying" to rob taxpayers' money to pamper one's lover, one can't help to wonder what's their idea of a bad, dishonorable and undignified man.

The case concerning David Laws MP (Honourable Liberal Democrat Member for Yeovil to give him is correct title) has now been passed to the general Standards Commission who will determine the exact position of of Mr Laws in connection with the £40,000 expenses claim involving his male lover (not partner, as so many people say, but lover).

Mr Laws is 44 years old and belongs to a very devout Roman Catholic family, and it was mainly due to this that he, sadly, felt it necessary to conceal his sexuality from all but very close and trusted friends.

The last thing he wanted to do was to upset his parents, especially his mother, to whom this whole business has come as quite a shock, mainly because of the huge publicity the affair has been given in the UK media.

In this day and age it is tragic that he felt he had to keep his clandestine love affair with the younger James Lundie under wraps
as there are other openly gay MPs in the UK Parliament anyway, but I suppose in Mr Laws' case it was a different situation in that he held a very responsible position in the Cabinet, the inner core of Government, as Chief Secretary of Finance to which he was better suited than any other person as there is no doubt that David Laws is a brilliant economist (a double first at Cambridge) and the best man to deal with the massive fiscal deficit the UK now faces after thirteen years of Labour Party profligacy and waste.

Foolishly he fell foul of his own appointed plans and intentions to rid the UK Parliament of any kind of misappropriation of public funds, paid through all of our hard eaned taxes...he had himself used the words "whiter than white" following on from the Parliamentary expenses scandals involving a whole array of Government ministers and MPs in the last Parliament, made possible by ineffective methods which gave all those involved thinking that what they were doing was not wrong in any way....such as making claims for such bizarre things as the improvements to duckponds, moats surrounding large country estates as well as a host of other things suich as claiming that a single room in a relative's London house was a "main residence" and in one case a claim for pornographic material for the enjoyment by the husband of a former Labour Home Secretary.

The British public, quite rightly, would not tolerate any of that sort of thing, and poor old David Laws was appointed to make sure such nonsense would never occur again under a Coalition Government.

Unfortunately for the Lib Dem MP for Yeovil, an exceedingly pleasant town in Somerset, England - the said Mr David Laws MP - he had secretly secreted £40k of our taxes to accommodate his gay lover, the exceedingly handsome Mr James Lundie, a very outgoing, very sociable, very "life of the party", very antithesis to the more discreet and reserved Mr Laws. The whole affair would make for a very enjoyable, very absorbing Parliamentary drama on Channel 4 TV.

I really do have a great deal of sympathy for David's predicament, and fortunately, so do very many of his constituents down in Yeovil. He is such a brilliantly talented economist, has a very acutely sharp intellect, one who simply happens to be gay. It's such a pity that, even now in 21st century Britain, a country where gay people are able to enter legal Civil Partnerships which provide practically all the benefits (and responsibities)of heterosexual relationships and marriage, he felt the need to keep his relationship a secret.

However, it did involve $40k of OUR money, and his misuse of that, flying in the face of his own appointed task in Government, made him a wee bit of a naughty lad, and I suppose his departure was necessary. However, many of us hope it will not be long before he is back in Downing Street again, as part of the Con/Lib Dem or Lib Dem/Con Coalition Government.

It's a public holiday in the UK today - the Spring Bank Holiday. How strange - tomorrow is the first of June - officially the first day of Summer according to the UK Meteorologiocal Office.

I don't quite see what you're getting at. Do you think every single "British twat" loves his government? I am perfectly aware there is a lot of corruption in the British government, but out of all the involvement in the expenses scandle the Conservative government has been proven to be the least corrupt.

Personally, I think the Lib Dems are a bunch of retaded batty boys who are completely out of their depths, I'd have the lot lined up and shot.

Damian in Edinburgh, I'm starting to wonder if you're gay. Your writing style comes across as someone who is possibly gay, or at least rather effeminate.

What the fuck are you talking about Laws for? This thread is about why rich Western liberals see the need to pretend to care about African homosexuals... Why do they care? And why do they think they can achieve anything!

It is such naivete, these fools are like the same kind of idealist idiots that need to pretend they care about suffering Palestinians to give meaning to their own miserably gilt-ridden lives. They intrude into Israel's territorial waters and somehow don't understand that "no" means "no". That "fuck off" really means "fuck off". Not everywhere is a European PC-fest.

Yes, sure,
It hasn't even started and the Chief Treasury Secretary has already been caught after paying £40,000 of taxpayers' money to his gay lover.

It should go into the Guinness Book of Records
