(dye = like the word)

(so- like the word 'sow' although some people say 'soh')

(lie - like the word)

I suggest you to look them up in a pronunciation dictionary, such as Longman Pronunciation Dictionary. This dictionary contains the pronunciations of the most world-famous trademarks.

Hmmm...well I'll try, but the phonetic method Im about to write is probably not even kosher, let alone orthodox :S

Adiabatic: Ah-dee-ah-bah-te-k'

Yahoo: Sort of speaks for itself really :S

Sony: Soe-nee

Lycos: Lie-kos

Hope that helps.

In X-SAMPA ( ) those would be (for American English):

Sony - ["soUni]

Lycos - ["laIkoUs]
