Jack o'lantern

A jack o'lantern is a pumpkin, turnip or rutabaga whose top and stem have been carved off and interior removed to leave a hollow shell. A light source (traditionally a candle) is placed inside the pumpkin and the top is put back into place. [wikipedia]

Jack o'lantern is an old European tradition.
Can you translate Jack o'lantern in your language? Thanks

I found in an old Portuguese dictionary that not only pumpkins were used but also pans with three or four holes. It is called "côca"(also coca) in Portuguese.

Côca also means bogeyman or sorceress.
