Esperanto and Interlingua are essentially the same thing. They are easy languages to learn. Circa 2million people speak Esperanto in europe et al.

hi, all.

I'm from the English forum and I'd wanted to learn a few Esperanto words and salutations. Can anybody help me?

Esperanto is a great language, one of the universal tools for the unification of Mankind (together with Universal Justice, the Internet and the Metric System). Zamenhof was a great spirit, full of love for Mankind and I only hope to achieve and be 1/10 of what he was.
Romanian is a romance language, a bit ugly, but surely not a made up one.

Anyway, here are some phrases in Esperanto:

Hello: Saluton!

Do you speak Esperanto: Chu vi parolas Esperanton?

Yes: Jes

It is a nice day: Estas bela tago!

I love you: Mi amas vin

Thank you: Dankon!

Goodbye: Ghis!
