English's current route? Roman or Germanic?

I was wondering if the English language (I acknowledge that English speakers are wide spread) is slowly getting more Romanized or Germanized? Of course you could be talking about a particular area, region, state, country, etc. But also if possible overall?

Please place your opinions below

Thankyou

I personally think that the English language will become more Romanized and less Germanized, the reason being that Romance languages are more prevalent or more predominant in today's world. For example, both Spanish and French, which are both Romance languages, are widely used in most parts of the world (or those parts of the world that matter on an international level, at least).

Be God's.
