what does "gravity" mean here?
Gravity is the noun form the meaning of which is given in the last posting. It's linked to the adjectival "grave" as in "The situation in Iraq will look grave for the Americans especially when the more diplomatic, less headstrong Brits exit stage left......soon.....hopefully."
