Hi everyone:

Have you ever used or heard of the phrase ‘PK’, like in a net game? What does it mean exactly? What abbreviation is it for? thanks.

versions i am aware of: play to kill, penalty kick (from the soccer match). was found in video games often and now being used in many asian countries, ie. China, on mainstream medias.

It is abbreviation for "player kill". It means to kill another player in the game (as opposed to killing an NPC (non-player character).

PKer = player killer, i.e. someone who kills players
Pking = player killing, i.e. the action of killing players

Do you get it now?
