That post was by an impersonator. (If you want my actual opinion on the matter, I'd say it's a simple transitive. I don't even know what a "notional transitive" would be.)

Please don't get the impression that I'm an abusive ass, as this impersonator makes me out to be! ;-) I've tried to keep all my arguments here from becoming personal, and I certainly wouldn't have made such a rude comment as that.
