There are some words that I have difficulty spelling.

Mustache, is one of them. The spelling just does not seem right.

Moustache:

Etymology

The word Moustache comes to the English language via the Middle French Moustache which in turn is derived from the Old Italian Mustaccio which originates from the Middle Greek Moustaki, a diminutive of Greek mystak-, mystax upper lip, mustache.[1]

I think I would find 'Mustaccio' easier to spell. It seems a lot more intuitive. Than 'Must-ache'

Use spell-checker, anyways.

It seems a lot more intuitive than 'Must-ache'. It is one sentence not two.

The language abounds with less-than-intuitive spellings. Learn to love it.
