Is this American English???

I grew up in Seoul, Korea and I've never been to USA in my whole life.
But I often get this comment when I speak English :
"You speak like American. How come you have such a strong American accent?"

So I uploaded my '90-second voice file' on my blog.
Would you listen to it and identify my accent whether it's American accent?
If it is, is my accent close to Californian accent or Midwest accent or somewhere else?

and just click "american_accent-majestaz.mp3 " then "O"pen it.

Dude, that is SPOOKY.

My mother is Korean, but I have lived in America all my life, except for a year overseas in Germany, but you sound exactly like me--not accentwise only, but your voice too. For a minute, I thought I was hearing myself talk. Too weird.

I grew up in Missouri, and I have the "standard American accent" which is basically a midwestern accent. Definitely, you do too.

Question: is anyone in your family a native of the USA? Your accent is too authentic to have been acquired any other way than through hearing English while growing up, like from a parent who is English speaking (American).

I know this because when I speak Korean, people say that I have no accent, and I've never been to Korea. It's because I picked it up from hearing my mother speak Korean all through my childhood years.
