Confidence vs. self-assurance

Can you see any difference in the meaning between these two? If so, can you give a few example sentences to show any possible connotations?

Well, there might be some subtle differences, however, they are basically the same to me.

I´d be curious if there is someone around who makes a difference between the two...

I can't think of any real differences off the top of my head.
