It is an old thing but I was referring to its modern reintroduction from America.

It isn't a reintroduction. It just never stopped being used in America.

It's been reintroduced to a lot of countries outside of America.

They're just rediscovering their roots, then. ;)

Everyone says "I have" except if they are trying to be kind humorous and they they say "I got" or "I gots" where I live.
