"early adopters are pushing through a fashion aesthetic" is the word AESTHETIC here a noun or a an adjective? i looked up in the dictionary and found that it only comes as an adjective, but here in this context it seems like a noun isn't it?

Yes, this is definitely a noun here. The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) lists it both as a noun and an adjective. In this context, it means a style or trend.
