French or Italian...!!! Which One...???
My mother toung is Spanish & my 2nd language is Englis, I want to learn a 3rd language either French or Italian. I'v been learning italian all by myself and have gotten not to far, but pretty far, due to the semi strong similarities between Italian & Spanish, But I also want to learn French becuase its a beautiful language and it's very important & Useful for many things, but then again it seems pretty hard at times, even though its also related to Spanish, but has 89% lexical similarities with Italian... What do you guys think...? or if there is any French or Italian speaking person out there would like to exchange language with me... I teach them Spanish & They teach me Italian or French... :-)

Hola Rolando, que tal? Soy italiano y hablo apenas un poco español pero lo intiendo muy bien. Te sugiero el francés porque es una lengua realmente importante..... se habla en muchos países y es realmente útil para muchas cosas.
El italiano es una lengua agradable y es muy similar al español pero se habla solamente en Italia mientras que el francés puede ser útil en Europa, América y África y no es tan difícil aprenderlo.
Perdonarme para mi mal español...sé que no lo hablo muy bien!!!!

Je te conseillerai d'apprendre les 2 langues.
Tu la jugé par toi-même, les langues latines ont de grandes similarités, je pense sincèrement que si tu les apprend sérieusement en 3-7 mois tu sauras tenir une conversation avec une personne native, après cela dépend du niveau de ta capacité de mémorisation et de ta logique propre.
Sé perfectamente comprender el español, pero pienso que cometo bastantes faltas todavía de gramática y de vocabulario.
Espere que puedo confiar en ti para que me ayudes...
Non so parlare perfettamente bene dunque l'italiano, non ti sarò di nessuno aiuto, ma sono un francofono nativo...

Mi situación era parecida a la tuya, entonces tal vez te irá bien haciendo lo que yo hice. Aprende Italiano primero, no te será demasiado dificil. Cuando tengas un buen nivel del Italiano, ve por el Francés, como conocerás la gramatica del Italiano, y como hablas Inglés, la pronunciación te será menos dificil así como la gramatica, se suavisará un poco.

Do you know the story of the guy who knew five foreign languages and decided to visit some foreign country. While walking down the street, he saw a group of guys hanging around in the park and thought of asking them for directions. He asked them in English, French, German, Chinese, Spanish...but with no success. So, he left.
One of the native guys says to the group: Hey, we should learn some foreign language. Did you see that guy? He already knew many.
Second guy: So what? Did he get any directions? :-)

If I were you instead of split my head learning Italian or French I'd try to do ITALIAN and FRENCH MEN!!!!
