common mistakes

Hi.
We could make a little list of mistakes that are common in your region/town...It will be fun ;) What do you find annoying?

Let's start:


''I'm being for serious.
I likes it.
I've already aten (instead of "eaten").
He be flipping out.
Between you and I''

well,
"It is I" and "we shall not" will get you funny looks in my area. It could actually be insulting if said in the wrong context and/or with the wrong tone.

If you said "you and I" instead of "you and me" someone would think that you were from a good small town or suburban school, not inner city or a tiny farm school...

"Can I hold you?"

Instead of "Can I put you on hold?" ;)
