it's "snek bar" not because of russian or bulgarian, it's because of its phonetics way of writing/reading. The way you're hearing it's the way you're writing. They just used "k" instead of "c" - ""snek instead of snec", just to looks more similar with English.
Again -> has nothing to do with russian/slavic. Maybe just one thing: both romanian and russian are phonetic languages...

I know "esplanada" comes from Spanish,but don't really know what it is either in Spanish or Romanian.
It's surprising if you seek to the bottom of things how many resemblences you can encounter,which did not seem that obvious. For instance ,the normal Spanish word for bucket is "cubo",but in some parts of Aragon people call it "galleta",whereas in Romanian it's "galeata".Also "ajo" in Spanish is garlic,in Romanian "usturoi".But in the same time loads of people from Transylvania call it just "ai".And there are many others ,just have to look a little further,and one can find a lot more ressemblences than the obvious ones.
But as for influences,there isn't very much to talk about really.
