I'm sure a lot of native English speakers even know what the active and passive voice even are. It's not something that people who aren't writers usually have to deal with. If I didn't study language so much, I probably wouldn't even know either. The only stupid thing about it is that the contestant disregarded such an overwhelming majority against him.

Wow, what a complete moron. He admits to not knowing yet he goes against 75% of the audience who he senses know the answer. You can see he shuts out any chance of reason.
