Fun with English

Hello all,
I decided to show the fact (which everybody knows) that English is indeed a mixture of Latin and Saxon influences by trying to write a text... using French and Dutch words (representing the two influences) but employing English grammatical rules and word order.

Do note that I was really bored, so this whole thread is meant to be for fun!

De fleur is plantée in de jardin.
Hij stopt en retourne.
De zee is violent.

The above examples are very short and basic.
I'm quite certain that other members who are more familiar with both languages can construct more elaborate sentences.
