We shared a prescience of the coming war.
Does it mean "we both had a prescient feeling about the coming war" or "we exchanged ideas of the possible happenings of the coming war"?

I think it basically means, "We both saw the war coming" (or, less idiomatically but more formally, "We both foresaw/predicted the coming war").
