I've actually never met anyone who speaks like Kelsey Grammer in real life. I guess that explains it.

That true about Americans but only some ,They also seem to be a bit ''over - dramatic'' but there so many Americans who very nice realistic 'normal' people who don't burst you eardrums.
It all stereotypes like us Irish don't speak in Lepacornish & drink till our livers burst. Anyway in UK as far I know not many people in RP the only place I ever heard spoken by a person face to face was in Harrods and I got lost ,like a mazed in there.
Anyway as a question why do people (mainly Americans) call the specifically English- British ...... Like a British accent - it usually dose not refer to Scottish or Welsh Accents but It refers to English one. Anyway all I am saying don't trust stereotypes.
