No, it's just that my dialect has a uvular approximant (which might be slightly fricative at times) for a rhotic except after coronals and sometimes after labials. Such has nothing at all to do with French, and if it were linked to outside influence, that'd be German influence anyways.

Note that French has a voiced uvular fricative, more specificlally stated as [R_r], or in some dialects a voiceless uvular fricative [X], whereas what I have is not the same, being a uvular approximant [R_o].
