Can anyone direct me to a dictionary with example sentences for all words or a website? Thanks.

Check out my review of Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English: http://www.english.hb.pl/articles/books/

There's also a review of the Collins Cobuild dictionary here on Antimoon.

If you're looking for a good online dictionary, try http://www.ldoceonline.com/ or http://dictionary.cambridge.org/.

Hope this is helpful :)

Pawel,
I'd like to know whether this CD you mention is the Longman Interactive Dictionary. I have a dated version (1993) which is excellent as regards content (it has the regular dictionary, Wells's pronunciation dictionary and the Grammar book) but it's so old that I find it a burden to use it with Word.
This dictionary that you mention seems great! Has it got the pronunciationation dictionary as well?

Francisco,

No, the Longman Interactive Dictionary is a different product.

The CD version of the Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English contains doesn't contain the pronunciation dictionary (it gives you, however, British/American recordings of headwords and, in the most recent version, recordings of example sentences).

english.hb.pl/articles/books/ didn't have anywhere to actually look up the words that you needed to find. Dictionary.com don't have complete sentences but it gives you enough to figure out what the word means and how to use it.

You can search it at this website, and download Emul to download the file, that's a p2p software. I use the Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English, it's pretty good, there are a lot example sentence.
