Is this an Italian dialect or fake Italian?

Hello everybody. There's this scene in the film "Interview with the vampire" where Tom Cruise (Lestat) dances with a corpse while he is singing some weird but apparently happy song, the scene itself is a bit grotesque. But if you have seen the film, I would like to know if what He sings is some Italian dialect or just cheap fake Italian.

If you haven't seen the film, here you have a link to a part of it, the part I'm saying starts around the 7:15 min.

He's singing "Non più andrai", an aria from Mozart's "Le Nozze di Figaro". And yes, it's in Italian.

Non più andrai, farfallone amoroso,
Notte e giorno d'intorno girando,
Delle belle turbando il riposo,
Narcisetto, Adoncino d'amor.

You won't go any more, amorous butterfly,
Fluttering around inside night and day,
Disturbing the sleep of beauties,
A little Narcissus and Adonis of love.
