An obscure English word--Help!

I'm looking for a rather obscure English word I heard once, but have since forgotten.

It's that "a-ha!" moment we have, that sudden flash of inspiration that comes from--where? Our subconscious minds? Our right brains? God?

It's a word commonly used by people who also use the word "serendipity". Can anyone help?

While I know this is not an obscure word, my first thought was "intuition."

Maybe "satori"?

Furrykey:

Thanks a bunch. That was the word--epiphany. :-)
