Why do /h/ "the h sound", /w/ "the w sound" and /j/ "the y sound" never occur at the end of syllables or words in English?
/h/, /w/ and /j/.
What about:
"hah" -- more emphatic "ha", I guess
There's also the Hoh River, in the US somewhere, but I forget where. (don't know how "Hoh" is pronounced, however).
