im just wondering that if you use be in the front of "Stand for", cuz Iv heard people use both

"It's stand for XXX" "What's that stand for"
and
"It stand for XXX" "What does that stand for"

which one is correct? or is it just a preference?

sorry I made a wrong, the question ought to be

"It's stand for XXX" "What's that stand for"
or
"It stands for XXX" "What does that stand for"

and by the way, can the short term of "what does" be "what's"? I thought it only stands for "what is" or is it?

"What's" can be either "What is" or "What does".... At least in this case. I'm assuming we use "What's" in both ways.

Yeah, it can stand for (no pun intended) "what does" or "what is". Or even "what has" for that matter. ("What's that got to do with anything?")
